Back to School!

Wow!  Summer is over and the first week of school has ended.  Time flies doesn’t it?  The grade one students seem excited to be back and ready to work.  We have almost completed our testing and have already had our first spelling lesson!  The students seem to be coping well and adjusting to the many changes they face coming out of kindergarten and into grade one.  They are most excited about having a desk of their own to fill with interesting things.  We are all looking forward to an exciting year!  Welcome back!

  Some dates to remember:   Sept. 16 - curriculum night, Sept 20 - School Barbecue,  Sept. 20 - Grub day (fall colours), Sept. 26 - Backwards Day.
